In the period from March 8th to March 9th, the first transnational meeting was held within the project “Dyslexia online teaching courses – DysCourse”. The first meeting was held online on the ZOOM platform due to the pandemic caused by the Covid 19 virus.
At the meeting, one representative from each organization presented his organization to the others, and Damjan Nikolovski as the project coordinator from the Einstein Association presented all the project goals, activities, and the results that need to be achieved within the framework of this project.
The main objective of the DYSCOURSE project is creation of an on-line platform that will contain courses and various dyslexia working strategies and methods. These instruments will be developed within this project in the form of intellectual outputs by transnational cooperation of experts in the field of Special Education and Rehabilitation. E-learning is a method that enables taking courses outside the classical classroom. This platform will also give options for blended learning or flipped classrooms, as well as forums, blogs and other on-line tools which can enhance the knowledge of teachers for students with dyslexia.
The coordinator of the project is the Dyslexia Association Einstein, and its partners are Latvijas Disleksijas biedrība , Galileo Progetti Nonprofit Kft. and Centro Studi Villa Montesca.
The project has a duration of 20 months starting from January 2020.
The project “DysCourse – online teaching courses for dyslexia” is financed with the support of the European Commission through the Erasmus Plus program.
